About Us

Minikiki (Kirsten Burisch) grew up in Cape Town, South Africa, where she obtained her Masters degree in Architecture. She drew, painted, and illustrated all throughout her degree, as a means to engage in a different world (and earn some extra cash). Eventually the characters and world within her imagination grew in shape, size and number. She currently works as an English teacher in Kyoto, Japan, while letting her imagination leap out of her hands and into your world.

Minikiki’s art style ranges from abstract fine are to character design and illustration. She customises toys and apparel from shoes and headphones, to sunglasses and tote bags. The customised apparel is 100% waterproof, painted with the best quality acrylic paint and coated with a water-proof varnish.
